We have recently completed a project in The Interchange Cardiff, where timber slat was specified on the ceilings and a curved wall. This £89m project includes a new bus station, 100,000 sq ft of new Grade A office space and 318 Apartments.
Working in the new offices with Celtic Contracts on the ceiling and Hazelwood Carpentry on the walls was an exciting opportunity for us.
Our team used clear communication to ensure the requirements of the project were met and the end client was happy with the overall finish. We attended various design meetings to ensure our panels arrived with the cut outs already in place to make sure the M & E Integration was simple.
Creating a curved wall was another challenge we faced head-on. However, this was overcome by our thicker flexible backing board, meaning our customer could simply bend it around the curve.
