Decor Systems can manufacture your panels to meet the specific code according to AS 3837, Group 1, 2 or 3.
All projects have to achieve a designated fire rating, whether it is a basic Group 3 or more fire resistant Group 1. These fire ratings are determined by government regulations and the type of building; these should be checked with your engineers.
Once the correct fire rating is determined, you need to specify a conforming product to achieve the correct group rating. This is where Decor Systems comes in to assist.

Under normal conditions, Decor Systems Acoustic Panels should last as long as the life expectancy of the building, subject to recommended cleaning and maintenance.
Decor Systems Acoustic Panels should be stored flat, off the ground. Panels with a timber substrate should be allowed to acclimatise for 3-5 days before installation. They should be kept clean and dry at all times.
Decor Systems Acoustic Panels will be delivered to site on pallets, with protective packaging to all sides of the pack.
Before installing timber panels, you need to allow the wood to acclimatise to the surrounding environment, so as to reduce the amount of movement in the panels and reach the Equilibrium Moisture Content.
Timber is hydroscopic, which means that moisture moves in and out of the wood depending on the building’s relative humidity. The key is to acclimatise the panels to the surrounding environment, providing a stable wood ceiling or wall lining, with limited movement
